L Game

Play the "L Game" with a friend! Originally from Edward de Bono's "The-Five Day Course in Thinking" (1967), popularized by VSauce2's video, "The Hardest Easy Game."

On your turn (indicated by the background color), reposition your "L" piece by drawing an "L" across any open squares. It can be positioned anywhere (including the squares it's currently in) as long as it isn't the same exact position.

After moving your "L" piece, you may move one of the two gray "neutral" pieces anywhere on the board. Tap a piece to move it, and tap a location to place it. If you don't want to move any "neutral" pieces, you can also tap the background twice to end your turn.

Win the game by forcing your opponent into a situation where they can no longer move their "L" piece. The background will turn bright, indicating a win! Tap the screen to play again.
